140 g hazelnuts

200 g dates

20 g cocoa

80 g dark chocolate

RECIPE STEPS
1Roast the hazelnuts for 10 minutes in the oven at 180°C.

2Add the roasted hazelnuts, dates, cacao powder, and an optional pinch of salt (optional) to the large bowl of the food pro.

  • 20 g cocoa
3Blitz/blend for a few minutes (~3-5 mins) until the mixture goes from crumbly to a uniform dough.
4Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it with your hands to form a ball. Lay on a plate with baking paper and repeat with the rest of the dough. This recipe makes 16 balls.
5Add the whole hazelnut on top of each ball. Chill in the freezer for a few minutes to allow the dough to set and harden, ready for the final step.
6.Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl, then roll each ball in it to coat completely.

7Transfer to a plate lined with baking paper, and once all balls are coated, freeze for a few minutes until the chocolate hardens.
