250 g plain flour

100 g sugar

100 g butter, cubed

1 egg

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp mixed spice

RECIPE STEPS
1Weigh all the ingredients directly into the metal bowl.

2In BAKING run PASTRY/CAKES. Press STOP as soon as ingredients are combined.

3Either roll into small balls and arrange on a parchment lined baking sheet; and flatten with the back of a fork. Or use a rolling pin to roll out, on to a sheet of parchment and use cookie cutters. Lift away the off cuts, and slide the parchment onto a baking sheet to bake.
4Bake in a moderate oven - 180 °C - for approximately 20 minutes, or until pale golden.
