150 g plain flour

0.5 sachet of baking powder (5 g)

1 tsp of ground cardamom

150 g of ground almonds

150 g of soft butter

3 eggs

150 g of golden or brown sugar

2 tbsp of brown sugar

2 tbsp of vanilla icing (optional)

350 g of red plums

RECIPE STEPS
1Heat the oven to 180°C.
2Put the ingredients into the metal bowl and run the program.
  • 150 g plain flour
  • 0.5 sachet of baking powder (5 g)
  • 1 tsp of ground cardamom
  • 150 g of ground almonds
  • 150 g of soft butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of golden or brown sugar

3Pour the batter into a buttered and floured cake tin.
4Press the sliced plums into the top of the cake and sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 350 g of red plums
5Bake in the oven for 1 hour.
6 Remove and cool for 20 minutes before turning out and set aside until cold.
7Serve cold and with an optional topping of vanilla icing.
