Parchment paper, baking tray

6 pieces

250 g of plain flour

100 g of sugar

100 g of butter (cubed)

1 egg

1 tsp of baking powder

1 zest of lemon

RECIPE STEPS
1Weigh all the ingredients directly into the metal bowl.

  • 100 g of sugar
  • 100 g of butter (cubed)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 zest of lemon
2Run BAKING, PASTRY/CAKES. Press STOP as soon as ingredients are combined.

3Either roll into small balls and arrange on a parchment lined baking sheet; and flatten with the back of a fork. Or use a rolling pin to roll out, on to a sheet of parchment and use cookie cutters.
4Lift away any off cuts, and slide the parchment onto a baking sheet.
5Bake in a moderate oven at 180 °C for approximately 20mins, or until pale golden.
