1 garlic clove

4 potatoes

250 ml of crème fraîche

75 g of gruyère

100 g butter

5 turnips

250 ml milk

1 pinch ground nutmeg

RECIPE STEPS
1Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 4).
2Fit the slicer disc in the bowl and slice the potatoes and turnips separately. ] Empty the bowl Grate the Gruyere cheese, using the 2mm grater disc.
  • 4 potatoes
  • 75 g of gruyère
  • 5 turnips
3Rub the gratin dish with the garlic clove and butter it thoroughly. Arrange alternating slices of potato and turnip, adding a little butter, salt, pepper, nutmeg and grated cheese between each layer. You should end up with several layers.
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 garlic clove
4Pour the milk-cream mixture over the dish, making sure it permeates the different layers.
  • 250 ml of crème fraîche
  • 250 ml milk
5Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, switching on the grill for the last 3 minutes in order to give it a golden crust.
