175 g plain flour
1 pinch salt
115 g cold butter
55 g caster sugar
30 g icing sugar

RECIPE STEPS
1Heat the oven to 180°C.
2Lightly butter or line a baking tray with baking paper.
3Put the ingredients into the metal bowl.
Run the program.
The dough should be very soft.
- 175 g plain flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 115 g cold butter
- 55 g caster sugar

4On a floured work surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 to 2cm.
5Use a 5cm round or oblong cutter, to cut out the shortbread shapes.
6Place the cookies on the baking tray and chill for about 30 minutes.
7Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
The shortbread must be quite firm.
8Allow to cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
